Executive Director Sheree Douglas Celebrates Graduation from WestStar Leadership Program

The WestStar Leadership Program, now in its 35th year, recently celebrated an impressive milestone with its 1,000th graduate, class member Legon Roberson Director of Grants Management and Special Projects for United Way of West Tennessee—a testament to the program’s lasting impact on the region. Over the past six months, Sheree immersed herself in the program’s rigorous sessions designed to cultivate strategic thinking, foster meaningful connections, and deepen understanding of the region’s challenges and opportunities.

Since being selected earlier this year, Sheree has demonstrated dedication and passion, combining her role at the Brownsville‑Haywood County Chamber of Commerce with the demands of WestStar. Her graduation not only reflects personal growth but also brings fresh insights and energy to our Chamber’s mission.
