Last Updated 8/7/2025

Leaders Education Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is now accepting applications for its L.E.A.D.S. Grants, designed to support classroom projects and educational initiatives throughout West Tennessee.

The L.E.A.D.S. Grant program provides funding to local educators whose projects inspire students to Learn, Experience, Advocate, Dream, and Serve. Eligible applicants include educators at public and private K-12 schools, as well as technical schools and colleges in West Tennessee.

This year, Leaders Education Foundation will award a total of $35,000 in grants across three categories:

Classroom Project Grants - $1,000 | 25 Recipients

These grants assist with classroom needs such as books, school-wide projects, or STEM activities. Applicants are required to submit a video that highlights their idea, vision, or project and demonstrates how it will be implemented or serve their classroom.

K-12 Teacher Appreciation Grants - $500 | 10 Recipients

These grants are awarded to schools, with applications submitted by a school-level administrator. The funds may be used for teacher appreciation events, activities, supplies, or treats to celebrate teachers and staff throughout the year.

Professional Development/Certification Grants - $1,000 | 5 Recipients

These grants support teachers’ professional growth, including certification programs, professional development classes, or other educational opportunities.
