Manufacturing Day: Showcasing Opportunities and Innovation in Brownsville

Workforce Innovations recently hosted Manufacturing Day, an event designed to introduce students and community members to exciting career opportunities in manufacturing. With guidance from the Chamber, the Industrial Development Board (IDB), Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TN ECD), and Brownsville ECD, participants enjoyed exclusive tours of local manufacturing leaders: Teknor Apex, Westlake, Blue Oval SK, and Precision Coils. These Chamber-member companies showcased their cutting-edge facilities and shared insights into the vital role manufacturing plays in our region's economy. Manufacturing Day was a powerful reminder of the innovation and opportunity thriving in Brownsville, Stanton, and Haywood County as a whole, thanks to these industry leaders and committed community partnerships.
