Celebrating 100+ Years of Success: Honoring InSouth Bank and Union Gin Company

The State of Tennessee's Department of Economic & Community Development Department (TN ECD) proudly presented two incredible local businesses—InSouth Bank and Union Gin Company—for their remarkable achievements of being in business for over 100 years! This milestone is a testament to their dedication, resilience, and vital contributions to the region's economy.

Both InSouth Bank and Union Gin Company have not only endured the test of time but have thrived through generations of leadership and community involvement. Their success stories are an inspiration to businesses of all sizes and a reminder of the importance of long-term commitment to quality service and innovation.
To mark this incredible achievement, TN ECD partnered with us here at the Brownsville Haywood County Chamber of Commerce to coordinate a special celebratory event. The Chamber was instrumental in supporting this occasion, helping bring together business leaders, community members, and well-wishers to honor these two pillars of the business community. The event featured speeches from local officials, a look back at each company's history, and plenty of opportunities to network and celebrate the hard work and dedication that have allowed these businesses to reach this historic milestone.

Regional President, Tim Stokely chats with Tracey Exum of TN ECD and City of Brownsville Mayor Bill Rawls

InSouth Bank, which has been serving the region’s financial needs for over a century, continues to be a trusted institution that has adapted to the changing landscape of banking while staying true to its roots in community involvement.  As a proud Chamber member for many years, InSouth Bank has consistently supported local businesses and initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to fostering growth and prosperity in the community.
Similarly, Union Gin Company, a staple in the agricultural industry, has built its legacy on providing essential services to farmers and contributing to the local economy in meaningful ways.

As we celebrate their 100+ years of success, we also look forward to the continued growth and contributions that both companies will make to our local communities in the years to come.

Congratulations again to InSouth Bank and Union Gin Company on this extraordinary milestone! The Chamber is happy to continue partnership with you in Brownsville, Tennessee. Here's to many more years of success!

We Are Better Together!
